Farm Fresh Chicken Eggs

Farm Fresh Chicken Eggs

Our farm fresh eggs are produced by our flock of happy, pasture raised chickens. Our hens produce extra large eggs in a variety of colors including white, brown green and blue.

We have had chickens for about fifteen years. We started with a small six hen flock and have been building the flock ever since. We now have over 70 hens and 5 roosters.

Pasture-raised Duck Eggs

Pasture Raised Duck Eggs

Our duck eggs are provided by our small flock of 7 ducks. They share the paddock with the goats and get along very well. Their favorite day is a rainy day when they can play and root around for worms in the puddles.

If you have never used duck eggs for cooking, you are missing some deliciousness indeed! Duck eggs make for fluffier pancakes and waffles, richer puddings, and moister, airier cakes! You can use one duck egg in place of two chicken eggs in any recipe.

Goat’s Milk Soap

Goat’s Milk Soap

We make our goat’s milk soap on the property with fresh milk from our goats. We use a number of moisturizing ingredients, including olive oil, shea butter, coconut oil, castor oil and aloe butter. We use a variety of pretty molds so the soap sits beautifully in your soap dish.

Felted Alpaca Soap

Felted Soap

We wrap a moisturizing bath bar with Alpaca fiber from our herd (that’s Han’s fiber in the picture to the left) and then felt it. The finished product has a hand felted flower on it, making it an excellent decorative addition for the powder room.

The felted wrap stays on the soap as you use it, providing a gentle exfoliation as you wash. As the soap gets smaller, the felt contracts until you are left with just the felt pad.

Homemade Strawberry Jam

Homemade Jams

Our jams are homemade on the property, using whatever fruit is in season. We grown our own blackberries, pears and apples and buy other fruits in season.

Kitchen Scrubbies

Kitchen scrubbies

These scrubbies are tough on dirt, but soft on pots and pans. And when they get dirty, just throw them in the washer and they come out looking like new! These handmade kitchen helpers come in a variety of colors and are made from tulle.

Knited Dish Clothes

Knitted Dish Clothes

These are hand knitted from 100% cotton yarn in a variety of colors. They are very absorbent and sturdy. And they can be machine washed and dryed and come out looking brand new.

Homespun Alpaca Yarn

HomeSpun Alpaca Yarn

Our alpaca yarn is processed and spun the old-fashioned way, right on our property. They are number 4 or 5 weight yarns. Because the fiber never leaves our property, we know just who’s fiber is in every skein. The skeins shown on the right come from Patriot and Hans.
